The Chrysler Group announced that its Five Star(R) dealers achieved a new May record of 11,243 Certified Pre-owned Vehicles (CPOV) making an increase of 10.6 percent as compared to the May 2006 sales of 10,164 vehicles.
As compared with April 2007 sales, the May sales got an 8.4 percent increase. So far, from January up to May this year, sales reached 53,829 units which is a 6.5 percent increase over year-to-date sales in 2006.

The San Diego-Based research firm has recently announced the 2007 results based on the ratings of new vehicle owners in 19 product segments. And surprisingly the Hyundai brand has been able to produce the most leaders on Strategic Vision’s Total Quality Index™ (TQI) leading in three segments.
The other brand that also produces three leaders was Nissan but it still didn’t tied up with Hyundai Motors since the latter has received a total of five leaders. GM Daewoo has recently launched two new models on Jeju Island—the Lacetti Diesel and the Lacetti Sport Wagon. These two new vehicles will provide GM Daewoo with a more comprehensive diesel lineup beginning with the SUVs to compact and midsize sedans plus a range of body styles.
